It's possible to still overeat on it, but it's so easy not to eat when you're on it so long as you're aware of what's going in your mouth. I lost about 30 pounds the first time I went on it; I didn't gain the weight back until I went back for surgery again (I always gain weight after surgeries, not lose it). Just power through it, I promise you it will get better. The show almost lost everyone at that juncture. At some point Brian K. Vaughan starts writing, those episodes are some of my favorite.
